MYFOXNY.COM - Gay activists protested outside a school board meeting at Union High School because they want teacher Viki Knox fired.
Last week Knox posted her religious views about homosexuality on her Facebook page.
She objected to a school display celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month by calling homosexuality "perverted." Another post called being gay a sin and compared it to cancer.
Knox's wall did not have privacy settings on it, leaving the comments open for anyone to view.
The group Garden State Equality says Knox's alleged remarks are offensive and calls into question her ability to enforce the state's new anti-bullying laws.
Supporters of Knox, who is a faculty adviser for an after-school Christian group, say she has a right to her faith and to state her beliefs outside the classroom.
Knox has been placed on paid administrative leave while the school board investigates.
During the public hearing portion of the meeting, both sides made their feelings known.
Most of the people at the meeting admit that they have never met the teacher at the center of this controversy but the issue drew them there.

Donations of any size can help
Restore Marriage in NH.
Homosexuals spent over $43 million dollars trying to defeat Prop 8 in California.
In Maine, they outspent supporters of Traditional Marriage by over 2 to 1 attempting to stop the People's Veto.
Homosexuals spare no cost trying to force states to conform to their demands.
These efforts to thwart the will of citizens can only be countered by donations from those who believe returning to the real meaning of marriage is in the best interest of our society.

House Bill 437
HB 437 is a bill currently under consideration in the New Hampshire legislature.
When passed, it will restore the language in our state laws that defined marriage as "the union of one man and one woman".
